You can now use Meteor to control the Zune player on your PC. Here's how:
Download the latest installer from the Meteor homepage. For extra tips on setting up Meteor, see this guide.
You should find it in your start menu. It will appear looking something like this:
Click on the Zune option at the top to take you to the Zune configuration. You will see that Zune is disabled by default, and there is also a warning that
enabling Zune will cause Meteor to run on startup. This means that if you enable Zune then every time you log on, Meteor will start running in the background,
ready for you to start controlling Zune!
Click on the "ENABLE" button. This may cause a UAC window to pop up asking if you are sure you want to allow Meteor admin privileges - Meteor needs this to be able to
run itself when you log on. Click "Yes" - we promise it's not doing anything nasty!
Zune is now enabled and running! Zune will now show up in the list of services on your phone - you can connect to it exactly the same way you connect to Media Center.
